Job description
A retail pharmacist is needed for a contract position in Timpson, TX, working 3-5 days per week. This role involves supporting a family-friendly, close-knit pharmacy environment, providing excellent pharmaceutical care to the local community.
Location: Timpson, TX
Duration: 13+ weeks
Setting: Retail Pharmacy
Schedule:
3-5 days per week
Monday through Saturday
Shifts typically from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with flexibility
Key Responsibilities: Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
Counsel patients on the proper use of their medications
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Manage day-to-day retail pharmacy operations
Maintain compliance with regulatory standards
Desired Qualifications: Valid Texas Pharmacist License
Minimum of 2 years retail pharmacy experience preferred
Experience with Pioneer Rx software is a plus
Strong communication and customer service skills
