Job description
This opportunity calls for a knowledgeable Pharmacist to support a close-knit retail pharmacy environment. The position involves working collaboratively in a family-friendly setting, providing expert pharmaceutical care and customer service.
Location:
Timpson, TX (with assignment based in a nearby community setting)
Contract Details: Temporary role with a duration of 13+ weeks
Work schedule is flexible, requiring availability 3-5 days per week
Shifts generally run Monday through Saturday with hours from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities: Dispense medications accurately and efficiently to meet patient needs
Counsel customers on prescription medications and over-the-counter products
Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
Manage inventory and assist with daily retail pharmacy operations
Desired Qualifications: Current pharmacist license for the state of Texas
Minimum of 2 years retail pharmacy experience preferred
Familiarity with Pioneer Rx software is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to contribute positively to the pharmacy team
