Shifts: 2nd Shift: 1pm-9:30pm / every 3rd weekend Sat & Sun 9am-5pm
Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a contract-to-hire position in Wilkes Barre, PA. This role involves working onsite in a dynamic healthcare environment, ensuring medications are dispensed accurately and in compliance with legal and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist Accept and dispense prescription medications.
Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns.
Ensure that the supply of medicines is within the law.
Ensure that the medicines prescribed to patients are suitable.
Maintain confidential records of all patients and manage pharmacy files.
Advise patients about medicines, including reactions and answering questions.
Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications.
Provide services such as smoking cessation, blood pressure measurement, and cholesterol management.
Educate patients on the handling of medical devices.
Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions.
Supervise pharmacy staff members.
Maintain inventory on pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
Identify patients' drug-related problems and communicate with healthcare practitioners.
Work in conjunction with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy staff.
Requirements of the Pharmacist Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.
Licensed by the state pharmacy board.
