Pharmacy InternTo effectively assist in directing the activities of all Pharmacy associates while providing high quality, patient-centered pharmacy services. Create an outstanding patient experience through exceptional service and patient care. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our patients to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.Essential Job Functions:Assist in the delivery of safe and accurate pharmacy servicesPromote trust and respect among associatesDisplay a positive attitudeCommunicate company, department, and job specific information to associatesCollaborate with associates and promote teamwork to help achieve company/store goalsAdhere to all local, state and federal laws, and company guidelinesFill prescriptions accurately and follow all accuracy protocols to avoid mistakesEnsure compliance with all state, county and local weights and measures laws and labeling requirementsConstantly maintain and uphold principles of patient care while providing superior customer serviceDevelop a system for keeping knowledge current so as to continually deliver up to date/accurate information in the provision of pharmacy serviceRecognize company insurance programs and stay within plan parameters as outlinedAssist technicians with calling customer's doctors concerning re-fills, when neededInput data accurately into the pharmacy systemAdhere to all state and federal guidelines pertaining to the practice of PharmacyUnderstand yearly licensing procedure for State and send application to Board of Pharmacy to be processedAdminister vaccinations following applicable State of Arizona RegulationsAdhere to all HIPAA Regulations and uphold Patient Privacy rulesAssist in monitoring and controlling expenses for the departmentMaintain an awareness of inventory/stocking conditions; note any discrepancies in inventoryReinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions and notify store managementPractice preventive maintenance by properly inspecting equipment and notify appropriate department or store manager of any items in need of repairNotify management of customer or employee accidentsReport all safety risks, or issues, and illegal activity, including: robbery, theft or fraudMust be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationMinimum Position Qualifications:Has obtained a degree from or is obtaining a degree from and accredited college of PharmacyArizona State Board of Pharmacy license in current/good standingDesired Previous Job Experience:Retail pharmacy preferredLeadership Behaviors: Achieves Results through Teamwork, Coaches and Develops Others, Communicates Effectively and Candidly, Executes with Excellence, Leads Change and Innovation, Leads through Positive Influence, Provides Clear and Strategic Direction, Puts the Customer First.Education Level: Bachelor's DesiredRequired Certifications/Licenses: Pharmacy Board License
