• Active, unrestricted Georgia Pharmacist Licensent• Active, unrestricted Mississippi Pharmacist Licensent• 3+ years of experience as a Pharmacistnt• Strong knowledge of retail pharmacy billing, including rejection resolution and advanced troubleshootingnt• Open availability Monday through Saturdaynt• Willingness to participate in rotating on-call schedulesnt• Typing speed of at least 40 WPMnt• Proficiency with Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office and Outlooknt• Exceptional attention to detail
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• At least 1 year in an Independent or Long-Term Care (LTC) Pharmacynt• Prior pharmacy management or supervisory experiencent• Experience using FrameworkLTC softwarent• Strong knowledge of Georgia and Federal pharmacy laws within an LTC environmentnt• Experience with eMAR systemsnAdvanced understanding of psychiatric pharmacotherapy, especially adolescent mental health treatment
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. This role is ideal for a pharmacist with leadership experience, strong long-term care (LTC) pharmacy knowledge, and expertise in psychiatric pharmacotherapy, particularly within adolescent behavioral health populations.nThe Pharmacy Manager will provide operational leadership, supervise pharmacy workflows, support staff development, and ensure exceptional patient care and service.nKey Responsibilitiesnt• Manage daily pharmacy operations and ensure efficient workflow managementnt• Maintain compliance with Georgia, Mississippi, and Federal pharmacy regulationsnt• Lead, mentor, and support pharmacy staffnt• Oversee medication dispensing accuracy and quality assurance processesnt• Resolve complex billing issues, insurance rejections, and reimbursement challengesnt• Participate in pharmacist rotation and on-call coverage schedulesnt• Collaborate with healthcare providers and care teams to optimize patient outcomesnt• Utilize pharmacy software systems and electronic medication administration records (eMAR)nSupport continuous process improvement initiatives and regulatory audits
