nPosition Summary:

nThe Pharmacist Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy Department. Provides supervision for Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and all support staff. Is also responsible for oversight of all support services needed to support the department. In addition, this position represents the Health Center and is an active member of the center’s management team.

nEDUCATION: BS degree in Pharmacy required. PharmD degree helpful. Valid license to practice pharmacy in MA. Obtain CE credits needed for license renewal as required

nEXPERIENCE: Previous experience preferred

nSKILLS/ABILITIES:

nKnowledge of contemporary outpatient pharmacy systems, general clinical

nknowledge and expertise in traditional therapeutics and patient centered care, excellent comprehension of written policies and procedures

nAbility to make appropriate decisions, develop and complete follow-up actions,

nAbility to motivate and direct staff

nEffective interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)

nAttention to detail or organizational ability

nEffective writing, presentation and problem-solving skills

nAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines

nComputer literacy, English proficiency

nCompensation Range: $144,560-$239,200. Final salary to be determined by relevant experience.
