Job description
A full-time leadership role is available for a Pharmacy Manager in the retail pharmacy setting in Mifflinburg, PA. This direct hire opportunity requires a proactive professional who can foster collaboration with the store operations team and lead pharmacy associates by effectively communicating department goals and company strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee prescription accuracy and compliance through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance per state and federal regulations.
Manage the pharmacy department to achieve profitability, drive prescription growth, and implement clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management.
Collaborate with the District Manager to control inventory levels, track weekly sales, and order pharmaceutical stock to meet customer needs.
Align department performance with key metrics, ensure excellent customer service, and resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy staff, and support personnel, including training, coaching, and discipline.
Maintain security, cleanliness, and organization of the pharmacy.
Interface with physicians and utilize reference materials to resolve prescription issues.
Prioritize and complete department tasks including cycle counts, inventory control, and customer will-calls.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
Schedule: Bi-weekly hours total 62.
Shifts range from 10 to 12 hours: • 10-hour shifts: 9am - 7pm • 11-hour shifts: 9am - 8pm • 12-hour shifts: 8am - 8pm or 9am - 9pm
Variable day and afternoon shifts.
Immediate start available.
