Job description
A Pharmacy Operations Manager role is available at a well-established 300-bed regional medical center in Oxnard, CA, specializing in inpatient pharmacy services. This position offers the opportunity to take a leadership role working closely with the Director of Pharmacy to ensure efficient day-to-day pharmacy operations in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate directly with the Director of Pharmacy as a trusted right-hand leader
Oversee and manage daily pharmacy operations to maintain smooth functioning
Coordinate and optimize employee scheduling to meet operational needs
Address and resolve issues promptly during shifts, supporting pharmacy staff
Utilize Cerner system to support pharmacy workflows and documentation
Desired Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in pharmacy management, preferably within an inpatient setting
Strong leadership skills with a focus on operational excellence
Ability to manage staff schedules and adapt quickly to challenges during the workday
Familiarity with pharmacy information systems, ideally Cerner
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
