Get to Know Your Team: Hillcrest Hospital South, a full-service 180-bed facility located in south Tulsa, offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services utilizing cutting-edge technology in a welcoming community environment. As the only DNV Orthopedic Center of Excellence (OCE) in Oklahoma, Hillcrest South stands out for its exceptional orthopedic care. The hospital's RN residency program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Practice Transition Accreditation Program and Pathway to Excellence, ensuring high-quality training for nurses.

The pharmacy operations manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy department and providing pharmaceutical care to patients as a staff pharmacist as needed.

This includes inventory management, staff oversight, policy and procedure development, and education within the pharmacy.

In addition, the operations manager should provide support, mentoring, and oversight of the activities of the clinical pharmacists and supportive personnel on staff.

The operations manager shall also assist in managing the pharmacy when the Pharmacy Director is unavailable.

Job Requirements: B.S. or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.

5+ year's hospital pharmacy experience (inclusive of related leadership experience).

Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy.

Other applicable state requirements - i.e. sterile compounding, etc.

BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Experience working in Microsoft Office applications, Electronic Medical Record Systems.

Preferred Job Requirements: Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy.

1 year as a pharmacy operations specialist.

Hospital Pharmacy Management experience.

ALS/ACLS certification. #LI
