(based on experience)nnn Revision Date:nnn 09/01/26nnnnnn nn POSITION SUMMARY: The Pharmacy Operations Specialist provides administrative and operational support to pharmacy leadership and pharmacy locations. The position serves as the primary coordinator for employer-sponsored immunization clinics, with increased clinic responsibilities during the seasonal vaccination period. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.n n ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (responsibilities include, but are not limited to):n Employer Immunization Clinicsn · Coordinate employer vaccination clinics, including scheduling, employer communication, staffing, supplies, and logistics.n · Manage clinic emails, calendars, rosters, and required documentation.n · Coordinate pharmacists and pharmacy technicians for clinic assignments.n · Support clinic-day operations and post-clinic follow-up.n · Assist with clinic billing, invoicing, and reconciliation.n · Maintain accurate employer and clinic records.n Pharmacy Operationsn · Provide administrative and operational support to pharmacy leadership and pharmacy locations.n · Assist with purchasing, inventory, vendor communication, billing, and other pharmacy operations.n · Maintain records and follow up on outstanding requirements.n · Assist with scheduling, reporting, and other administrative functions.n Special Projectsn · Support implementation of new pharmacy programs, services, systems, and processes.n · Assist with reports, spreadsheets, data collection, and process improvement initiatives.n · Support projects designed to improve pharmacy efficiency, service, and operations.n · Work with pharmacy leadership and other departments on assigned projects.n · Perform other duties as assigned.n n SKILLS AND ABILITIES:nn Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills.n Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.n Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.n Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, email, and scheduling systems.n Ability to work effectively with pharmacists, technicians, employers, vendors, and other departmentsnn n EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION:nn High school / Secondary school diploma or GEDn Must be at least 18 years of agen Pharmacy or healthcare experience preferred.n Pharmacy technician registration preferred but not required.nn n LANGUAGE ABILITY:nn Speak, Read and Write Englishnn n WORK ENVIRONMENT:nn Air condition while in store, subject to outside conditions of heat, rain, and wind while retrieving wagons/helping customers to their car, and chill temperatures if products need to be retrieved from chilln Very fast pacednn n PHYSICAL DEMANDS:n Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
