Job description
Provide exceptional customer service in a safe and clean environment to ensure the customer’s return visit. nRESPONSIBILITIES
nnnCommitment to providing customer service that makes both internal and external customers feel welcome, important and appreciated
n
nnResponsible for being professional, displaying a positive attitude, and communicating well of the company in the presence of customers or on social media
n
nnAdminister immunizations to customers following Kroger standing orders and procedures
n
nnSuccessfully complete clinical services according to relevant case load
n
nnDispense medications to customers pursuant to prescriptions and, following laws, regulations, policies and procedures, and ethical standards
n
nnCompound medications, using standard formulas and processes, such as weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients
n
nnReview prescriptions issued by prescribers to assure accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients needed
n
nnVerify new medication against existing medication and patient profile to ensure that there are no-drug or drug disease interactions prior to filling prescription
n
nnVerify the work of the Pharmacy Technicians and Interns, including accuracy of all prescriptions assembled
n
nnSupport special promotions in consultation with the Pharmacy Manager
n
nnEngage the pharmacy team to hold appropriate day supply. Follow protocols on recalls
n
nnStay current with present, future, seasonal and special ads
n
nnFollow all state and federal laws regarding annual department and personal licensing application/renewal
n
nnMaintain established procedures for quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs
n
nnWork to prevent and report robbery, theft or fraud
n
nnSupport preventative maintenance by proper inspection and repair of equipment
n
nnReinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and identify or correcting unsafe conditions
n
nnPromptly report all customer or employee accidents to management
n
nnAdjust personal schedule to staff your business unit’s open shifts when necessary
n
nnCommunicate special programs
n
nnCommunicate information with department members that impact the department or job functions
n
nnComply with the provisions and agreements set forth in company policies and the union contract(s)
n
nnAdhere to all company, local, state, and federal laws and guidelines, including HIPAA Fraud, Waste and Abuse (Medicare), and DEA Procedures
n
nnWork collaboratively with team members to promote teamwork and align the goals of the organization
n
nnMust be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
n
n nQUALIFICATIONS Minimum
nnnMust be a licensed Pharmacist in good standing
n
nnBachelors Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
n
nnExcellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
n
nnExcellent Planning and Organizational skills
n
nnHigh attention to detail and accuracy is a must
n
nnDrivers license and ability to travel independently
n
n nDesired
nnnManagement experience preferred

n n$68.22 - $70.97 per hour
