Exciting Opportunity for a Travel Pharmacist!
Job Description:
- Shift: 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM
- Location: 7101 Jahnke Road, Richmond VA 23225
- Unit: Pharmacy, Main Building 4th floor
- Cost Center: 71207
Unit Specifics:
- Number of Beds: 463
- Equipment: Meditech Magic, Vigilanz, Dose Edge, Pyxis, C2 safe
- Scheduling Requirements:
- Nights:
- Evenings:
- Floating Policy: None
- Patient Experience: Hospital experience required
Hiring Profile:
- Requested Skills:
- Experience with complex patients (Trauma/Burn/Critical care, pediatrics, cardiac surgery, ECMO)
- Dose Edge IV experience
- Pyxis experience
- Meditech and Vigilanz knowledge
- Must Have:
- 2+ years hospital experience
- Advanced Skills:
- Vancomycin AUC dosing experience
- Aminoglycoside dosing
- Renal dosing
- Warfarin and enoxaparin management
- Electrolyte protocols
- Heparin and DOAC knowledge
- Procedures:
- IV verification and medication verification
- IV compounding when necessary
- Required Certification: Virginia State Pharmacist license
Dress Code:
- Scrubs - Silver/purple preferred
