Pharmacy - Pharmacy Tech
Profession: Pharmacy Technician
Specialty: Pharmacy Technician
Duration: 16 weeks
Shift: Mixed day, evening, and weekend shifts
Hours per Shift: 8 hours
Experience: Minimum of six (6) months to one (1) year experience as a hospital pharmacy technician preferred
License: Current Pharmacy Technician Registration required
Certifications: Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred
Must-Have: High school diploma or equivalent required
Description:The Pharmacy Technician I is responsible for performing a variety of duties in the pharmacy.This includes routine filling or refilling of medication and supply orders.The role also involves packaging, clerical, and other standardized duties.This position reports to the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor.The technician operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
