OVERVIEW
Work onsite in a fulfillment environment supporting prescription processing, data entry, and order fulfillment (count/fill/label/pack/ship) while following HIPAA and quality guidelines.
Pharmacy Technician 1 Compensation
$19.00 per hour paid biweekly
Benefits available after 90 days

Pharmacy Technician 1 Highlights
Contract assignment (6 months) with potential to hire permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
Onsite position
Schedule: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM Tuesday-Saturday (Sunday & Monday off)
Pharmacy Technician 1 Responsibilities
Process prescription exceptions (including claim rejects) and complete member/physician outreach as needed
Enter patient demographics and prescription information into the system
Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and escalated member issues
Escalate prescription questions to a Pharmacist for interpretation/direction
Assist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician calls
Run automated machinery; sort medications and move inventory through workflow stages with quality control focus
Count and fill prescriptions; affix labels; pack and ship orders
Maintain an orderly work area and help clean/maintain equipment
Resolve Third Party Rejects by reviewing issues, correcting, and resubmitting per plan requirements
Provide support to Pharmacists in the facility and other locations; communicate issues to senior staff as appropriate
Other duties as assigned
Pharmacy Technician 1 Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license/registration (in good standing)
Pharmacy Technician experience (0-2 years; prior retail or fulfillment experience is a plus)
Comfortable working in a safety-sensitive environment and handling PHI (HIPAA)
Basic computer skills and ability to navigate online systems
Keyboarding skills (about 25 WPM or more)
Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs (with or without reasonable accommodation)
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
Pharmacy Technician 1 Preferred Qualifications
Active PTCB (CPhT) or ExCPT certification
6 months-2 years of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or fulfillment environment
Ohio technician license with at least 1 year remaining before expiration (preferred)
