Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support prescription fulfillment in an independent retail pharmacy. Reporting to the Pharmacist-in-Charge, this role will provide daytime shift coverage while assisting with medication dispensing, patient service, insurance billing, and accurate pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities
Process and fulfill prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
Assist with medication dispensing under pharmacist supervision.
Provide patient assistance and customer service.
Process insurance billing and resolve related issues.
Complete pharmacy data entry accurately.
Maintain prescription and patient records.
Follow medication safety procedures and pharmacy compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Entry-level experience in pharmacy operations.
Completion of a pharmacy technician training program.
State pharmacy technician registration or license.
Knowledge of prescription processing and medication safety.
Experience with insurance billing and inventory control.
Strong attention to detail.
Effective customer service and communication skills.
