Looking for a Pharmacy Technician position with a great weekday schedule? We're hiring Pharmacy Technicians to join a busy specialty production pharmacy team in Oakland Gardens, NY!
This is a great opportunity for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy working behind the scenes to help ensure patients receive their medications accurately and on time.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Fill, label, package, and prepare prescription medications
Assist pharmacists with processing and fulfilling prescriptions
Prepare blister packs and unit-dose medications
Organize, stock, and maintain medication inventory
Verify prescription accuracy and patient information
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
Assist with inventory counts and quality checks
Communicate with team members and occasionally assist with patient calls
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 0–3 years of pharmacy technician experience preferred. Entry-level candidates with at least 1 year of customer service or healthcare experience are encouraged to apply!
Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB, CPhT, or similar) preferred but not required
Pharmacy Technician license or willingness to obtain one, as applicable
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic computer skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced pharmacy environment
SCHEDULE & PAY:
Pay: $21–$23 per hour
Location: Oakland Gardens, NY (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–7:30 PM
Weekends: None!
