Job Description Job DescriptionCompounding & Preparation: Measure, weigh, mix, and package customized pharmaceutical preparations (topicals, capsules, liquids, suppositories) following master formulation formulas.
Documentation & Record Keeping: Complete precise compounding logs, batch records, chemical lot tracking, and quality assurance logs for every formulation prepared.
Quality Assurance & Compliance: Perform daily room, equipment, and temperature logs; maintain logs for balance calibration, cleanroom monitoring, and equipment maintenance.
Inventory & Purchasing: Receive and log incoming active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and chemicals, maintaining detailed Certificates of Analysis (CoA) files and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all documentation strictly complies with USP guidelines, FDA regulations, DEA requirements for controlled substances, and State Board of Pharmacy standards.
Cleanroom & Workstation Maintenance: Maintain cleanroom sanitation logs, complete daily/weekly/monthly cleaning documentation, and follow strict aseptic techniques and PPE protocol.
