Pharmacy Technician – General & Shift Differential
Location: Wilkes-Barre, PA
V-Soft Consulting is hiring for a Pharmacy Technician (Shift Differential) for our premier client Wilkes-Barre, PA
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring Pharmacy Technicians for our premier client in Wilkes-Barre, PA. These opportunities are ideal for candidates with experience in prescription processing, IV preparation, medication inventory, and pharmacy operations.
Available Shifts:
Normal Shift – 2 Openings
1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with every other weekend, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–7:30 PM, with every other weekend, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Shift Differential – 2 Openings
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–8:30 PM, with every other weekend, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
WHAT YOU'LL DO – Key Responsibilities
Fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
Enter prescription and billing information accurately into the pharmacy computer system to support reimbursement.
Assist with prepackaging medications in compliance with pharmacy standards and government regulations.
Support the pharmacist with final prescription checks, medication packaging, and timely delivery coordination.
Maintain medication and supply inventory, including receiving, rotating stock, tracking lot numbers and expiration dates, and assisting with physical inventory.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure pharmacy equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
