Job description
Join our team at Sparta Pharmacy! We're a busy community pharmacy in Sparta, NJ looking for a full-time Pharmacy Technician who's dependable, detail-oriented and great with patients. No experience needed — we'll train you and help you get your NJ pharmacy technician registration. Why you'll like working here
• $17–$21 per hour, based on experience

Schedule (full-time)
• Weekdays: 9 AM–5 PM or 12 PM–8 PM shifts (mostly 12–8)
• Weekends: Saturday and Sunday, 9 AM–5 PM or 9 AM–2 PM
• Weekend availability required
What you'll do
• Type, fill and label prescriptions under the pharmacist's supervision
• Count, measure and package medications accurately
• Run insurance claims and help resolve rejections
• Greet patients at the counter and on the phone; route clinical questions to the pharmacist
• Check in orders, stock shelves and pull expired medications
• Keep patient records accurate and private (HIPAA)
• Ring up prescriptions at the register when needed
What we're looking for
• Must obtain NJ Pharmacy Technician registration (we'll guide you through it if you don't have it yet)
• Detail-oriented and comfortable with basic math and computers
• Friendly, patient and reliable
• Available full-time, including weekends
• Retail pharmacy experience or PTCB certification is a plus, but not required
