Job description
The Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) invites applications for a PhD scholarship within Bioprocess Engineering. The position runs for 3 years, starting 1 October 2026, and is part of the fermentAtIon project funded by the Research Council of Norway.
You will build an AI-driven digital twin for real-time optimization and control of microbial lipid fermentations, integrating spectroscopy data, sensors, and lab-scale experiments across oleaginous microorganisms.
