Job description
University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass Amherst) is seeking a PhD student to join the Grossmann Lab on a precision fermentation project focused on next-generation protein ingredients. The PhD candidate will lead a newly launched study spanning biomanufacturing, microbial expression, and downstream characterization with translational potential to real-world applications.
The position is fully funded for four years, with an MS prerequisite and a strong publication record preferred.
