Phlebotomist 2The Phlebotomist 2 draws and collects blood samples from patients, verifies records and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis. Performs all pre-analytical functions. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Relies on established guidelines to accomplish tasks. Develops a complete understanding of specimen collection and handling in order to preserve specimen validity and integrity. Must have excellent customer service skills and frequently works independently outside the main lab.
