Job Title: Phlebotomist
Job Type: 3-6 Months Contract (Extension Possible)
Location: East Brunswick NJ
Shift: Monday - Friday, (8 hours shift)
Key Responsibilities:
Perform blood collection (venipuncture & capillary) safely and accurately
Prepare and label specimens for lab testing
Maintain proper documentation and records
Ensure a clean, safe, and professional work environment
Provide excellent patient care and build trust with patients
Follow all compliance, safety, and confidentiality guidelines
Required Education High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Work Experience Five years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
Minimum 3 years in a PSC/IOP environment preferred.
Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
Keyboard/data entry experience.
