If you like variety, this role is perfect for you!Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, scheduled 8 hours vary between 7:00am-6:00pm with rotating Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pmWork Location: Elgin, Travel RequiredJob Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture technique for all age groups.Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.Maintain patient and specimen information logs.Provide superior customer service to all patients.Clerical duties as necessary.Travel to additional sites when needed.EducationHigh School graduate or equivalent requiredNational Phlebotomy Certification or qualified to sit for phlebotomy certification exam preferredPrior experience as a Phlebotomist OR an equivalent combination of graduation from a certified phlebotomy school coupled with work experience in a healthcare field preferred.Moderate knowledge of medical terminology, excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred.The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $ , with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
