Together, we're improving health and improving lives.LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist - Float to join our team in Mishawaka, Indiana.Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, scheduled hours vary between 6:45am-6:00pm and rotating Saturdays; this position will cover northern Indiana to include the cities of Mishawaka, South Bend, Goshen and AngolaJob Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when necessaryPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when neededMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED or equivalent1 year or more of phlebotomy experiencePreferred Qualifications:2 years or more of phlebotomy experience in an outpatient lab environmentAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agencyProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionFlexibility to work overtime as neededAble to pass a standardized color blindness testValid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportationBe at least 21 years' oldAt LabCorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. If you like variety, this role is perfect for you!Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.Float Incentive: Additional $2.00/hr plus mileage reimbursementBenefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
