Job TitleJob Overview:Pay Range: $18.00hr - $25.00hrRequirement/Must Have:High school diploma or equivalent.Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred.Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.Five years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.Minimum 3 years in a PSC/IOP environment preferred.Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.Keyboard and data entry experience.Ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent problem solving and collaboration skills.Responsibilities:Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.Create an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.Provide coverage at multiple locations for multiple roles.Ensure daily activities of the Patient Service Center, Mobile, Long Term Care, or In-Office Phlebotomy are completed accurately and on time.Direct daily activity in various environments including doctor’s offices, patient service centers, house call environments, or long-term care facilities.Act as a coach, mentor, instructor, and resource advisor for new employees.Provide effective onboarding services to new clients.Act as a point of contact to staff on-site and provide regular input to leadership.Work with customers who have high complexity or volume practices requiring specialized phlebotomy skills.Collaborate with multiple functions such as Sales, Laboratory Testing Services, IT connectivity, Billing, and Logistics.Nice To Have:Medical assistant or paramedic training.Phlebotomy certification.Experience in a PSC/IOP environment.Retail or service industry customer service experience.Skills:Phlebotomy.Pediatric Collections.Geriatric Collections.Capillary Collections.Data Entry.Customer Service.Mentoring.Onboarding.Problem Solving.Collaboration.Qualification And Education:High school diploma or equivalent.5+ years of phlebotomy experience.
