Phlebotomist/FT (Black River Medical Center)Full-Time Phlebotomist needed to join our MUSC Black River Medical Center, SC team! ***Must have 250+ sticks for application consideration***Location: Cades, South CarolinaEntity: Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA)Worker Type: EmployeeWorker Sub-Type: RegularCost Center: CC BLR - Laboratory (BRMC)Pay Rate Type: HourlyPay Grade: Health-20Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40Job Description: Draws and collects blood samples from patients, verifies records and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis. May prick finger to draw blood. May conduct interviews, take vital signs, and draw and test blood samples to screen donors at blood bank.Education: High school diploma or equivalent.Experience: Must have 250+ sticks for application consideration.Licenses/Certificates: Certification in phlebotomy preferred; BLS or CPR Required. If not BLS Certified, then certification must be obtained within 30 days of Hire.Additional Job Description: MUSC Health Black River Medical Center supports a patient-and family-centered approach to care.
