Phlebotomist I - 1st ShiftPride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist I to support our client's healthcare facility in Kent OH 44240. Schedule: 7:00 am-4:00 pm Monday-Friday. Location: Kent OH 44240. Job Type: Local Contract. Contract Length: 5 Months+ Pay Range: $19/hr. Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.Key Responsibilities:Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.Collects and stores specimens in accordance with established procedures. Properly explain in a clear but courteous manner the process of the venipuncture (blood drawing) and or other specimen collection (ex. urine or fecal) as required.Demonstrate technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles. Fully understand all of the physicians' orders. Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes.
