Phlebotomist IPride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist I to support our client's healthcare facility in Anchorage, AK. This is a 13 weeks contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.Job Details: Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Location: Anchorage, AK 99503 Job Type: Local contract Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay Range: $19 to $21/hour* *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.Duties:Perform blood draws and venipuncture accurately and safely.Provide professional and compassionate care to patients throughout the collection process.Register patients and accurately verify patient information.Process and prepare specimens according to established laboratory procedures.Maintain accurate specimen identification, labeling, and documentation.Follow all applicable safety, infection control, and laboratory procedures.Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.Requirements:Education: High School Diploma or GED required.Years of experience: Minimum 1-2 years of phlebotomy/specimen experience – REQUIREDSkills/Specialties/Technology: Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.For workers in the United States, PrideGlobal and it's affiliates offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.Equal Employment Opportunity PrideGlobal and it's affiliates are an equal opportunity employer.
