Phlebotomist IPride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist I to support our client's healthcare team in Charleston, SC 29407.Location: Charleston, SC 29407 Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract-to-Possible Hire) Pay Rate: $19/hour Shift: 1st Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri- 7 AM to 4:00 PMJob OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist with at least 1 year of recent phlebotomy experience to support a Patient Service Center (PSC). The ideal candidate will have experience working with pediatric and geriatric patients, specimen processing, and patient registration. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Requirements:Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience required.Pediatric and geriatric experience preferred.Experience with patient registration and specimen processing.High School Diploma/GED required.Phlebotomy certification preferred (if required by state).Responsibilities:Perform venipuncture using straight and butterfly needles.Collect, label, process, centrifuge, and prepare specimens for transport.Register patients and update patient information.Ensure accurate specimen handling and documentation.Follow OSHA and laboratory safety guidelines.Provide excellent patient care and customer service.Skills:Blood collection and specimen processingPatient registrationAttention to detailMicrosoft Office proficiencyStrong communication skillsEqual Employment OpportunityPrideGlobal and its affiliates are an equal opportunity employer.
