Phlebotomist IHourly Pay Range: $18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:Location: Patient Service Centers; Cook County, IL LocationsFull Time/Part Time: Full timeHours: Monday-Friday, days shifts with varied start times, e/o weekend and rotating holidaysRequired Travel: YesWhat You Will Do:Perform a variety of routine and special phlebotomy procedures as authorized by the Supervisor/Manager/DirectorResponsible for ordering tests into the Laboratory and Hospital computer systems and documenting Lab receipt of specimensCollect patient specimens in accordance with test requirements and in a manner which is appropriate for the age and/or specific patient population servedCollect blood samples for specific tests ensuring volume is adequate and correct tubes are utilizedWhat You Will Need:Education: High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent work experienceCertification: CPR-BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider required from the AHA and PBT (ASCP) certification preferredExperience: Phlebotomy training experience strongly preferredUnique or Preferred Skills: Good communication and organization skills, moderate computer skills needed, reliable transportation to travel between sites required, strong customer service skills.Benefits:Premium pay such as shift, on call, holiday and more based on an employee's job (For eligible positions)Incentive pay for select positionsOpportunity for annual increases based on performanceCareer Pathways to Promote Professional Growth and DevelopmentVarious Medical, Dental, Pet and Vision optionsTuition ReimbursementFree ParkingWellness Program Savings PlanHealth Savings Account OptionsRetirement Options with Company MatchPaid Time Off and Holiday PayCommunity Involvement OpportunitiesEndeavor Health is a fully integrated healthcare delivery system committed to providing access to quality, vibrant, community-connected care, serving an area of more than 4.2 million residents across six northeast Illinois counties.
