Location: Greenville, KY
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $21.45 per hour
Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-3:30pm
Why This Role Matters
As a Phlebotomist I, you will play a vital role in the patient experience by ensuring accurate specimen collection and handling. Your expertise and professionalism will help support timely diagnostic testing while creating a positive and reassuring experience for pediatric patients and their families.
What You'll Do
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on pediatric patients
Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
Accurately maintain required records and documentation
Provide exceptional patient care while explaining procedures and addressing questions
Perform specimen collection and processing duties in accordance with safety and quality standards
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
Promote a positive image with patients, clients, and team members
What We're Looking For
A current, up-to-date resume
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience required
Strong pediatric phlebotomy experience
Excellent specimen collection and patient interaction skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong data entry and keyboarding skills
Customer service experience in a retail, healthcare, or service environment preferred
Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
Phlebotomy certification preferred
Ability to meet compliance requirements
