Job Description Job Description Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client's healthcare facility in Alpharetta, GA. This is a 13 weeks contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.
Job Details:
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM
Location: Alpharetta, GA 30005
Job Type: Local contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Pay Range: $21 to $23/hour
Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.
Duties: Perform venipuncture and collect high-quality blood specimens
Perform pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
Process both clinical and forensic specimens according to established procedures
Verify patient demographic information and required documentation
Obtain patient signatures following venipuncture when required
Verify specimen labels and ensure accurate patient identification
Maintain required records and documentation
Provide patients with clear explanations of collection procedures
Create a professional, welcoming, and comfortable patient experience
Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Years of experience: Minimum 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience - REQUIRED
Skills/Specialties/Technology: Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections .
