Phlebotomist IIPride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client's healthcare facility in Charlottesville VA 22911 Job Details: Schedule: M-F 8:00 am-5:00 pm Location: Charlottesville VA 22911 Job Type: Local Contract Contract Length: 3 Months Pay Range: $18.37/hr Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.Key Responsibilities:Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.Collects and stores specimens in accordance with established procedures. Properly explain in a clear but courteous manner the process of the venipuncture (blood drawing) and other specimen collection (ex. urine or fecal) as required.Demonstrate technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles. Fully understand all the physicians' orders. Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes.
