Phlebotomist II – FloatOur client, a medical research company, is looking for a Phlebotomist II – Float for their Tallahassee, FL location. Responsibilities include:Representing the face of the company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions.Drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.Creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.Demonstrating leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information.Performing daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor, maintaining a safe and professional environment. Performing with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures. Maintaining required records and documentation. Demonstrating organizational commitment and promoting a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.Requirements include:High school diploma or equivalent.Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.Phlebotomy certification preferred.3 years of phlebotomy experience needed.Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.Keyboard/data entry experience a must.Why should you apply?Health benefitsReferral programExcellent growth and advancement opportunities
