Pride Health is hiring a Local Phlebotomist - Lab to support our client's healthcare team in Florence, KY.
Job Details:
Schedule: (40 hours per week)
Monday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Tuesday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Wednesday: 12:00 PM-5:00 PM (No lunch)
Thursday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Friday: 8:00 AM-7:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Rotating weekends: 9:00 AM-1:00 PM
Location: Florence, KY
Job Type: Local contract
Contract Length: 3 months +
Pay Rate: $21.50 - $23.05 per hour
Weekly gross pay is based on a taxable hourly wage and daily lodging and meals & incidentals stipends based on USA GSA guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections safely and accurately.
Collect, handle, label, and prepare clinical and forensic specimens.
Provide compassionate care to pediatric, geriatric, and special-needs patients.
Verify patient information, obtain signatures, and maintain accurate records.
Follow HIPAA, safety, compliance, and infection-control standards.
Maintain clean, stocked work areas and sanitized equipment.
Deliver excellent patient service and maintain professionalism.
Float to other Patient Service Centers/IOP locations as needed.
Complete required training and maintain current credentials.
