Phlebotomist IIHourly Pay Range: $19.31 - $28.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:Sign on bonus: (if applicable)Location: Glenbrook, ILFull Time: 40 hours/weekHours: Monday-Friday -0500am-0130pm (if needed-Days, Evenings, Nights)Rotating weekends and holidaysWhat You Will Do:Perform a variety of routine and special phlebotomy procedures as authorized by the Supervisor/Manager/DirectorResponsible for ordering tests into the Laboratory and Hospital computer systems and documenting Lab receipt of specimensCollect patient specimens in accordance with test requirements and in a manner which is appropriate for the age and/or specific patient population servedCollect blood samples for specific tests ensuring volume is adequate and correct tubes are utilizedWhat You Will Need:Education: High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent work experienceCertification: CPR-BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider required from the AHA and PBT (ASCP) certification preferredExperience: Phlebotomy training experience strongly preferredUnique or Preferred Skills: Good communication and organization skills, moderate computer skills needed, reliable transportation to travel between sites required, strong customer service skills.Benefits (For full time or part time positions):Eligibility for our Annual Incentive Plan, which offers the potential to earn a certain percentage amount of your base salary based on organizational performance.
