Phlebotomist II

Location: 211 Fountain Court, Suite 110, Lexington, KY 40509

Duration- 2 months

Shift- 9:30am-6pm

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist II to work at a high-volume Patient Service Center in Lexington, KY. The candidate will collect blood specimens from patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric age groups , register patients using the company system, maintain accurate specimen records, and work as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Perform blood draws and specimen collection from pediatric through geriatric patients .

Complete approximately 70-80 blood draws per day in a high-volume environment.

Register patients accurately using the company system.

Maintain accurate patient and specimen manifests/logs.

Follow company procedures and compliance requirements.

Provide patient-centered care throughout the collection process.

Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Complete required training on the company's systems during the first week.

Required Qualifications

2-4 years of diagnostic phlebotomy experience.

Experience drawing blood from all age groups, including pediatric and geriatric patients .

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong blood-drawing and specimen-handling skills.

Ability to register patients and maintain accurate records.

Strong communication and patient-care skills.

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Ability to work in a high-volume Patient Service Center .

Preferred Qualifications

Diagnostic healthcare/phlebotomy background.

Strong patient-centered care skills.

Experience working in a high-volume PSC or similar clinical environment.

Interview Process
