Phlebotomist II OpportunityPride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client's Patient Service Center in Riverside, MO. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced phlebotomist with strong patient-care and specimen-collection skills.Job DetailsJob Title: Phlebotomist IILocation: 2906 NW Vivion Rd, Riverside, MO 64150Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CentralPay Rate: $25.00/hourJob Type: ContractJob ResponsibilitiesPerform venipuncture and blood collections accurately and efficiently.Perform pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.Provide excellent customer service and create a positive patient experience.Verify patient information and properly label specimens.Process and handle specimens according to laboratory procedures.Accurately enter patient and specimen information into computer systems.Follow all safety, infection-control, and compliance procedures.Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.Handle difficult draws and provide appropriate support to patients during the collection process.Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, and healthcare professionals.Requirements1–3 years of phlebotomy experience required.Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.2 years of Patient Service Center experience preferred.Customer service experience in a retail or service environment highly preferred.Keyboarding and data-entry experience.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and patient safety.Pride Health offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
