Phlebotomist IIPride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client's healthcare facility in Suwanee, GA. This is a 13+ weeks contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:15 AM–4:30 PM; Friday, 7:15 AM–12:30 PM or Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM–5:00 PMLocation: Suwanee, GA 30024Job Type: Local contractContract Length: 13+ weeks Pay Range: $21 - 23/hour *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.Duties:Perform high-quality venipuncture and blood specimen collection following established proceduresCollect and process both clinical and forensic specimens accuratelyPerform pediatric, geriatric, and capillary blood collectionsVerify patient demographic information and obtain required patient signaturesConfirm specimen labels are accurate and properly applied in the patient's presencePrepare, handle, and process specimens according to laboratory proceduresMaintain accurate records and required documentationProvide patients with clear explanations of collection procedures and create an atmosphere of trust and confidenceRequirements:Education: High School Diploma or GED required.Years of experience: Minimum 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience – REQUIREDSkills/Specialties/Technology: Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.For workers in the United States, PrideGlobal and its affiliates offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.PrideGlobal and its affiliates are an equal opportunity employer.
