Phlebotomist IIPride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client's healthcare facility in Toms River, NJ. This is a 13+ weeks contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.Job Details: Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM Location: Toms River, NJ 08755 Job Type: Local contract Contract Length: 13+ weeks Pay Range: $24 to $26/hour* *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education. Duties:Perform high-quality venipuncture and blood specimen collection following established proceduresPerform pediatric, geriatric, and capillary blood collectionsCollect and process clinical and forensic specimens accurately and safelyExplain collection procedures clearly to patients and create an atmosphere of trust and confidenceVerify patient demographic information and required documentationObtain patient signatures following venipuncture as requiredVerify that specimen tubes are correctly labeled and that patient information is accuratePrepare and process specimens according to established laboratory proceduresMaintain accurate records and required documentationRequirements:Education: High School Diploma or GED required.Years of experience: Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience required Skills/Specialties/Technology: Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.Equal Employment Opportunity Fair Chance Employment Accommodations
