Phlebotomist III - FloatPride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist III - Float to support our client's healthcare facility in Goldsboro, NC 27534Job Details: Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, rotate Saturday/Sunday (if needed) Location: Goldsboro, NC 27534 Duration: 06 Month Contract (Possibility of extension or conversion) Pay Range: $21 to $23.50/hour Mileage Reimbursement Rate (if applicable): $0.72 / mile *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.Roles & Responsibilities:Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection.Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols.Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.Float between multiple designated locations as needed to support staffing needs and maintain smooth phlebotomy operations.Education:A high school diploma or equivalent is required.Medical training (such as medical assistant or paramedic programs) is preferred.Experience:Minimum of three (3) years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws.At least two (2) years of experience in a Patient Service Center or clinical setting is preferred.Pride-Health offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.Equal Employment OpportunityPride-Health is an equal opportunity employer.
