Phlebotomist Indio, CAHealthcare Talent Support is seeking a highly qualified Phlebotomist. This is a 3 month temporary assignment with the potential to extend or go permanent.DutiesPerform venipuncture and collect blood specimens from patients in an inpatient settingEnsure proper patient identification and labeling of specimensFollow established laboratory procedures for specimen handling and processingMaintain a clean and organized work areaAdhere to infection control and safety protocolsPrepare specimens for transport to the laboratory for testingAccurately record and document patient information and test resultsSkills6 months + Phlebotomy experiencePhlebotomy certificationAbility to perform venipunctureFamiliarity with specimen collection processing and blood samplingExcellent computer skillsJob Types: Full-time, TemporaryExpected hours: 40 per weekSchedule:Monday to FridayRotating weekends
