Job description
Phlebotomy Services LeadLeads and participates in a small team providing phlebotomy services to inpatients or an outpatient laboratory. Ensures adherence to standards and policies. Trains new employees as assigned. Captures data, audits processes and reports selected metrics to management.EducationMinimum High school diplomaPreferred Phlebotomy Training or Phlebotomy Technical SchoolCredentials/LicensureMinimum ASCP certification for Phlebotomy (or other accrediting agency) or certification must obtain within 3 months of hire dateRelated ExperienceMinimum Six months of phlebotomy experience.Preferred One year of phlebotomy experience at MHSM.Other Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMinimum Strong interpersonal and clerical skills. Strong customer service skills.Computer CompetencyFamiliarity with standard desktop and windows based computer system, including email, e-learning, intranet and computer navigation.
