Job description
Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client's healthcare facility in Katonah, NY 10536.
Job Details:
Schedule: M-F 8:30am - 5:30 pm, rotational Saturdays at Mt. Kisco location 8:00am - 1:00pm
Location : Katonah, NY 10536.
Float : Yes, occasional travel to local draw stations if coverage is required (Mount Kisco, Yorktown Heights, & Briarcliff, NY)
Job Type: Local contract
Contract Length: 3 months (with possible extension or conversion).
Pay Range: $20 - $23/hr.
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.
Duties:
Draw blood from pediatric through geriatric patient population.
Process all lab specimens including verifying patient identifiers, barcoding, centrifuging, pouring off, accessioning, creating packing lists and packaging specimens to reference lab at correct temperatures.
Follow all Phlebotomy SOP and OSHA Safety/PPE guidelines.
Requirements: Education: Highschool/GED or equivalent
Certification(s): Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
Years of experience: 6 months of phlebotomy experience is required.
