Phlebotomist - Little Egg HarborWe are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist for a patient service center in Little Egg Harbor. The role involves drawing blood from patients of all ages and processing samples efficiently in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesDraw blood from patients of all ages, handling 150-180 sticks per day between the staff.Process samples, including bagging, pipetting to transfer tubes, and pouring off urines.Utilize venipuncture techniques to collect blood specimens.Ensure accurate labeling and processing of specimens.Collaborate with other team members to provide exceptional patient care.Essential SkillsPhlebotomy certificationProficiency in blood draw and venipuncture techniquesExperience in healthcare settingsStrong blood drawing skillsAdditional Skills & Qualifications2+ years of phlebotomy experienceAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentExperience with pediatric patients and all age rangesPreferable to use straight needles, but flexibility to use butterfly needles if neededWork EnvironmentThe work environment is a busy patient service center located in Manalapan. The position requires on-site attendance from Monday to Friday, from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. The center experiences high patient volume, necessitating efficient and quick-paced work. Employees have opportunities for upward mobility within the network of IOPs and PSCs, and there is potential for future transfers. The center is part of a leading diagnostic lab in the country, known for its recent acquisitions and clinical research capabilities.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.94/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
