PhlebotomistMarshfield, WIFacility: Marsh Main Location: Marshfield, WI Address: 1000 N Oak Ave, Marshfield, WI 54449, USA Shift: 10 Hours - Evening Shifts Job Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 35.00 Salary Range: $17.00 - $23.50Work 7 on 7 off. 10 am to 8 pm.Job Summary: Uses equipment to collect samples of blood and other fluids from patients/residents; explains procedures to patients/residents and collects information from them in a professional manner. Collects and manages samples of blood and specimens from patients/residents; ensures patient/resident safety during the sample collection process. Records and documents patient/resident information accurately. Follows all standard procedures and safety regulations; deploys asepsis techniques during phlebotomy procedures. Communicates with patients/residents, collecting their health information and answering their questions regarding phlebotomy procedures.Qualifications: High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) required. Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred.
