As a Phlebotomist with Mission Hospital you can be a part of an organization that is devoted to giving back!Role Summary: Represents the hospital and department by serving as an interface between the client (patient, physicians, nursing, etc.), and laboratory technical areas. Performs a variety of venipuncture techniques involved in the collection of blood specimens from patients for laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Ensures proper patient care by prioritizing physician orders and collecting blood as required.QualificationsRequired Education: High school diploma or GEDPreferred Education: Completion of a phlebotomy training programPreferred Certification: ASPT or ASCP certificationPreferred Experience: One-year previous experience in a hospital laboratory, clinic, or physician practiceMission Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
