Phlebotomist and Senior PhlebotomistThis is a combined posting for a Phlebotomist and Senior Phlebotomist. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. Your voice matters here, because we know that to inspire and retain the best people, we must empower them.Phlebotomist is responsible for clinical laboratory duties, including:All Sites: Reception and Telephone duties & proficient operation laboratory equipment including HIS/LIS systems; specimen handling: receiving and processing; prep & shipping of lab specimens for at Reference Laboratories; specimen/patient registration; phlebotomy - collection of blood samples by venipuncture or capillary stick; therapeutic blood collection; swab collection of specific Micro samples (per competency); assignment to OP Lab locations; training new staff as assigned.Required Qualifications:Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification upon hire.Six (6) months direct experience as a phlebotomist and/or completion of a Phlebotomy program.Preferred Qualifications:Coursework/Training: Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy training Program/Course approved by WA State.Phlebotomist, Salary Range:Olympia, WA,Min: $21.30, Max: $30.26Senior Phlebotomist is responsible for clinical laboratory duties, including:All Sites: Reception and Telephone duties & proficient operation laboratory equipment including HIS/LIS systems; specimen handling: receiving and processing; prep & shipping of lab specimens for at Reference Laboratories; specimen/patient registration; phlebotomy - collection of blood samples by venipuncture or capillary stick; therapeutic blood collection; swab collection of specific Micro samples (per competency); assignment to OP Lab locations; training new staff as assigned.Required Qualifications:Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification upon hire.2 years' experience in a clinical lab setting.Experience 7 of the basic skills described in the essential functions of the job description.Preferred Qualifications:Coursework/Training: Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy training Program/Course approved by WA State.Senior Phlebotomist, Salary Range:Olympia, WA,Min: $22.44, Max: $34.33Why Join Providence?
