Job DetailsPerforms procedures involving blood collection, central receiving/specimen handling, and limited technical functions to assist the technologist in performing laboratory analysis.Education and TrainingHigh school graduate or equivalent.Certificate in Phlebotomy or as a Medical Assistant preferred.Six months previous phlebotomy experience AND/OR completion of a Medical Assistant Program OR a Phlebotomy Program.BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire and/or transfer.ExperienceSix months previous phlebotomy experience preferred.Variable ScheduleHours: 24 Hours per week7:00-3:30p7:30-4:00p8:00-5:00pLocationWill travel to offsite labs located in Hudson, Akron, Kent, TallmadgeEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
